Today we're plugged into the SolidGold Surf Rider Reverb, a spring reverb simulator that captures some very authentic 60's Surf tones in a compact package. The Surf Rider has a few more controls on it's face than many of it's contemporaries, giving it an extra measure of flexibility over the competition. A tone knob allows the player to dial in a darker tone similar to many smaller tube amps, or a brighter, splashier 60's sound. The length of your simulated reverb pan can also be set using the Resonance control, while Level and Depth knobs tweak overall mix and volume. The SolidGold Surf Rider Reverb's flexibility also means it can do more than just drippy surf. It's also great for adding subtle space and ambience to your tone. Like all SOlidGold FX pedals the SolidGold Surf Rider Reverb is built with superb components, using Neutrik jacks and True Bypass switching.
