Diving deep into the Friedman Phil X 100W Signature Hand‑Wired Tube Guitar Head. I wrote a tune, and then run through the controls and some tones.
Everything was tracked from the Phil X head into a Friedman Phil X Cab. It's basically a Friedman 4x12 with Greenbacks in the top 2 slots, and Vintage 30's in the bottom 2 slots. It's a really nice sounding cab and the combo of those 2 speakers are killer. I had an SM57 on each speaker and was able to blend to taste. I also had a Royer 121 on another Vintage 30 that I blended in sometimes.
