In a world where 7 and 8 strings guitars are available at your local big box store, we decided to go the other way.
A 3 string cigar box guitar into one of our Skylarks made for a great sound and super fun time. It was pretty amazing what you can get out of this thing! One bridge position single coil pickup gave us tones similar to a Tele but being a super small hollow body added an interesting flavor. Obviously this is not a production instrument and there is no way to do a true comparison to any guitar out there. With that out of the way, this was still a super great match and hopefully shows how versatile the Skylark is and how it can make anyone and any guitar sound fantastic!
