I plugged directly in to a 1986 Mesa Boogie Mark III, purple stripe, Lead channel with the following setting:
Volume 10, Treble 10, Bass 0, Middle 10, Master 0,8(!), Lead Drive 6, Lead Master 2, Presence 3, and Reverb on 10.
All push/pull pots are pulled out except the Middle pot.
Shure SM57 directly and Beyerdynamic mic in a distance of 8".
Onboard reverb, no more effects.
Boss looper RC-2 in the effect loop.
