Our friend Mike Hermans take another look at the JHS Twin Twelve overdrive. JHS' new overdrive is based around the warm, unique voice of the 63' Sears Silvertone 1484 Twin Twelve, which has seen a lot of love from indie guitarists around the world. The Twin Twelve includes a closely replicated preamp using JFETs, the same interactive Baxandall type tone stack, and the 1484's creamy sustain plus a master volume for recording and bedroom playing.
