Tom Quayle Legato Lick guitar lesson part 1 of 2
In this two part lesson we'll be looking at another one of Tom Quayle's awesome legato licks. This is a quick lick but has a few cool elements to it ... from his usual use of arpeggios to a cool pentatonic type arpeggio.
There will be a bunch more lessons breaking down some of the cool things he has played in some of the youTube videos. There is so much good stuff coming from him ... It's gonna be difficult to get to even a small percentage of it ... but we will do our best ... so if you liked this one please let us know by commenting below and by subscribing. This will let us know that you want to see more stuff like this.
To hear Tom Quayle play this lick himself check out the following link ...

At about 6:50 in this video he breaks out this great rock/shred style legato run.
*** At about 2:30 in this video ... I start out strong by telling you the wrong fret number ... lol ... I say 7 ... 8 ... 7 ... 8 ... it should be 7 ... 8 ... 7 ... 5***
*** And I continue my verbal malfunction at about 3 minutes in (i should have known better when i started counting on my fingers ... lol) ... but I lie and say tom tunes his guitar in fourths ... the strings being tuned to E A D G D F. Well ... I have news for me ... that is not tuned in fourths. The correct tuning he uses is E A D G C F***
Sorry about that.
