This dirt box comes from Mad Professor's new affordable CB line, which offers the same circuits at roughly half the cost of the hand wired version. The Mighty Red Distortion was designed to reproduce those compressed hi gain tones of the 80's but with increased clarity and lower noise. Plus, the folks at Mad Professor couldn't help but tweak the circuit in response to customers wanting more output. Of course, this Mighty Red Distortion pedal's circuit and components are to the same standards as other Mad professor effects, and it's wired for true bypass.
