We are offering an amazing collection of Mosrite Guitars -- Semie Moseley (1935 -- 1992) was the creator of "The Ventures" guitar and many others.
Many of these guitars are from Semie Moseley's personal collection -- one of them comes from the Chinnery Collection.
Here in the first of a two-part 'Mosrite Special' video you will see seven of these stunning guitars beginning with an incredibly rare Three-Tone Sunburst 1963 Joe Maphis Double Set-Neck Six String + Octave guitar, followed by another great rarity -- a Black 1964 Ventures Mark 1 with Triple-Binding on the top. The third guitar is another great rarity -- a Gold Metallic 1965 Ventures Mark 1 followed by an Aquamarine 1987 Ventures Model inscribed by Semie Moseley on the back of the headstock. The fifth guitar is a really beautiful Translucent-Red 1967 Mosrite Combo Mark 1 which features a 'thinline' offset asymmetrical double cutaway maple hollow body with a 'German Carved' sruce top. This is followed by a very rare Natural 1976 Bi-Centennial with a double cutaway 'flamed maple' hollow-body and then finally Semie's 1977 Black prototype of the New Mosrite Solid-Body 'Brass-Rail' guitar featuring an offset asymmetrical double cutaway solid body with a 'German' carved top.
