Long known as a very traditional acoustic guitar brand - Martin is marching into the future with their excellent acoustic guitars built on a platform of sustainable tonewoods. For 2024, The Music Zoo is very excited to see the release of the GPCE Inception Maple!
The guitar is a 14-Fret Grand Performance body built with an FSC-certified European spruce top paired with maple and black walnut for the back and sides. The back has a gorgeous 3-piece design, and the neck is carved entirely from black walnut into a High Performance taper. Internally, the guitar features a new 'skeletonized' scalloped bracing pattern that's designed specifically to bring the best out of these tone woods while reducing weight and adding resonance.
