For bassists who wish to cut the weight not the tone allow us to introduce the Ashdown Studio Range.
A few weeks ago the Ashdown team headed over to John Henry's Studios in London and hooked up with Biffy Clyro bassist, James Johnston and Kasabian drummer, Ian Matthews to give our Studio range of Bass Combos a proper workout.
We couldn't be happier with this series of amps. We've included everything from pint sized practice amps to proper gig worthy 300w combos, and every single amp is packed full of tone and features appropriate to its size.
We've meticulously voiced these amps to be every bit as good as a big old valve stack, so you don't have to compromise on tone, but you do get an amp that's both portable and small enough to transport without having to leave the drummer at home.
In this video James opted to blend a Studio 210 and Studio 15 300 watt combo for the ultimate gnarly bass tone. Everything you hear is the onboard drive, pre-gain and 5 band EQ of the Ashdown Studio Amplifier.
