The strings on my tele are feeling quite old and dull. I've long believed that a fresh set of strings can breathe major life into a guitar. But I wanted to do an objective comparison to see if this comes through the microphone. Strings are 10-52 from D'Addarrio. The new strings were stretched very briefly before the test was recorded. Amp is a Fender Bandmaster Clone into a 1x12 with a WGS G12C speaker mic'd with an AKG C214 into an Audient ID22 interface.
