Sigi Schwab is a true icon of the German scene, a wonderful human being- and a real “artist”! After I was allowed to buy this great 1964 Gibson L-5 from him in 2013, we kept in regular contact until his death in January 2024. It also made me proud that he ordered transcriptions of my pieces to play them - after all, he was the one who regularly gave lessons for the general public on ZDF television in the 1980s... (!), his duo recordings with Peter Horton had also made quite an impression on me. Schwab was well versed in classical music and jazz. An all-round musician. I will definitely cherish his guitar!
