Digging around in some of my stuff I found a 1965 Tung Sol Suggested Retail Price list for Electron Tubes for Radio and TV and I thought it would be cool to check it out and compare prices from the height of the valve era to today's reissues of Tung Sol branded 6BQ5, 6L6GC, 12AX7, 6V6, etc. We'll ask the question: adjusted for inflation, were tubes more or less expensive in 1965 than they are in 2018? The answer might surprise you.
