In a world overcrowded with transparent drives, modulated delays and fuzz pedals, it’s a breath of fresh air when somebody tries to create something new. Something that defies the standard labels and rule sets we musicians have managed to create over the years, and the Hologram Infinite Jets fits that bill perfectly with its sci-fi looks and otherworldly sounds.
So what IS the Infinite Jets? In techy terms, it’s a two channel sampler with infinite sustain, 4 separate sampling effect types, 3 different trigger modes, 6 different envelope shapes and a wealth of deep expressive automation abilities. This allows you to create endless drones, stuttery textures, interweaving ghostly pads, sweeping synth swells and a ton of other sounds, which before would have required an armada of effects to create, but now they can all be done with just one pedal.
