The all-new Mariposa guitar features a lightweight, okoume body, designed in an offset angular shape, with a roasted maple neck, and ebony fingerboard that showcases its pearlescent block inlays for a unique appearance and playing comfort. This new instrument comes with an ornate, laser-etched pickguard, designed to compliment each specific finish option. Finish options include the Imperial Black and Imperial White with gold hardware for the Standard model, and the Dorado Green and Pueblo Pink with chrome hardware for the Deluxe option. The Mariposa's electronics package was built to accentuate Omar's love of heavy distortion while retaining all the subtleties of a classic style humbucking pickup configuration. Electronics include two custom wound EBMM humbucking pickups with separate volume control for each pickup, controlled by a 3-way pickup selector switch that allows for variable humbucking combinations when needed.
