Tom from Ableton, gave us a few more insights into the way you can work with Move, their latest compact music production tool.
A unique feature he emphasized is the use of a single track to build songs. With the 16 pitches setting, users can play samples chromatically on a drum rack, essentially allowing access to 16 monophonic sample tracks within a single track.
Tom also demonstrated how you can slice drum breaks or other samples on the fly, a handy technique for live performances.
Overall, the Able2Move seems well-suited for both studio production and live use, now available directly from Ableton's website.
