The legendary ES-355 - a top-of-the-line model from 1978 featuring many similarities to the ES-335, but with many nice appointments to put it ahead of the pack. An ebony fretboard with block inlays, stereo wiring, the 'varitone' selector switch, fully-bound body and neck (including the f-holes) all topped off with a Maestro vibrola and a fantastic walnut finish! These guitars have been seen in the hands of many influential players throughout the years, from B.B. King, Roy Orbison and Chuck Berry to more modern players Dave Grohl and Eric Johnson, these beauties do not disappoint. A pair of great humbucker pickups with the option to split them to two separate amps gives a ton of options along with the three-position switch and Varitone system. The only change made to this guitar was an excellent re-fret, as all fretted instruments eventually need a new pair of shoes! We had our friend Aidan Scrivens demo this beautiful instrument through a Tone King Gremlin that sold just after we finished recording the demo.
