In this video Nick Jennison checks out the Sustain pedal from the Orange range of reissued pedals. The Sustain pedal is one of three pedals, reborn from tea-stained schematics under popular demand from Orange fans everywhere.
The Sustain is a compressor pedal that can smooth out your guitar tone, giving you silky smooth cleans and leads and make your playing sound even and uniform. It can also drive an amp further when it needs to.
This version has a smoother bloom than the original 70s version and the blue LED turns purple when the gain reduction kicks in.
