Welcome back to Friends Pick Friday! Today we're featuring a customer of ours and absolutely incredible player, Nick Vassallo. A Conneticut born and raised but now Seattle resident, Nick has a really unique style that has blown us all away down here at the shop! We knew it was only a matter of time before we got him down here for a Friday guest video, and its finally happened - now you all get to see what we're so excited about!
The instruments and amp featured in todays video are a 1967 Gibson Trini Lopez Standard in a rare Sparkling Burgundy Metallic finish, a rare natural-finish 1957 Gibson ES-175D, and for a bit of extra fun: the elusive blonde Fender Bass VI from 1963! Each of these fantastic instruments was played through a 1971 Fender Deluxe Reverb 1x12 combo - this specific amp has something really special to it, the tone it outputs is just incredible.
If any of you want to contact Nick or just keep up with his music, check out his Instagram @njvassalo, search his name on YouTube, or drop him a line at njvassallo23@gmail.com!
