The Slow Hound is a unique creation with a few tweaks yielding
the ability to really shape your tone. It is not to be confused as another TS circuit, rather offering a unique and articulate tone with gain that reaches into the "medium" stage. Excellent for a clean boost, achieving those on the edge of breakup tones or getting a raw clip with beefy mid range and clarity achieved by the silicon clipping diodes inside. The more interesting part is the Howl feature, which adds a level of warmth via an additional opamp stage that does not affect the overall gain. So, what you have is a boost that is dependent on the rest of the circuit that will boost without drastically changing the color of your tone.
The Howl also uses a bi-colored LED, so do not be fooled when you plug it in...its not a defect.
