This was a project a longtime in the making, and wow did the patience pay off! Introducing the latest run of Music Zoo Exclusive guitars with the Fender Custom Shop, the Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Stratocaster with 'Neo-Relic' finishes. We're dubbing them the Neo-Relic to pay tribute to the Neo-Classical genre which Yngwie paved the way for in the 1980s. Join Tommy and Jordan as they go over the run of Yngwie Strats and some time-traveling back to the 80s when Tommy first encountered Yngwie at a small club in Brooklyn in 1985.
The last time a relic'd Yngwie Malmsteen Strat was offered, it was the extremely limited edition run of John Cruz Masterbuilt "Duck" Strats which now command a very pretty penny on the used market. We wanted to offer Yngwie Strats with a cool relic treatment and loud custom colors that matched the legends loud personality and music! Of course, there's an example available in Vintage White too for that classic Yngwie look.
