Based on our incredibly popular Gold Foil platform; the Gold Foil for Jazzmaster pickup offers the same bright, articulate, and harmonically complex tones in a form factor that is a direct drop-in replacement for Jazzmaster pickups, requiring no modification to the instrument itself.
No other pickup in our catalog has earned quite the same cult following as our Gold Foil pickups, thanks in no small part to the sonic versatility that they offer. And, because of this, we offer it in more mounting styles than anything else that we make. You can get surface-mount Gold Foils that are just like their vintage counterparts upon which they are based, floating mount for jazz boxes, PAF-style humbucker sized, Dogear or Soapbar P90 style, and now they're available for the offset crowd as well!
