Hi, I just like to give back and share what I have learned and know. For me I can go in my shop, my personal collection and 30+ years buying and selling PRE CBS Fender. In the 1970's & 80's Mighty Mite and WD were making great almost exact ( but not) Reissue Fender parts. I happen to have a large stash of NOS Pickguards from this era. They have the shinny underside as only Fender used and had rights to their brand of parts. I have seen many who think they have a 1950's white Tele or Esquire pickguard but it's now a old 1980's WD. If you didn't have a 100% guitar or the part in hand, you not see. 1985 is not 1957. 30k is not 15k because not 100%. Before the internet no one on earth believe a 1959 Burst bring 2, 3 400K when back in 1985 it was $1,500
