The Dirty Deed, from Seymour Duncan, was created to be the ultimate in versatile dirt pedals, generating organic, responsive tones that blur the line between amp-like overdrive, chunky rock distortion, and warm, fuzzy sustain. Thanks to its discrete, dual-MOSFET-based analog circuitry, the Dirty Deed exhibits an uncommonly wide range of tube-like tones, from rich, touch sensitive overdrive with the gain knob down, to searing crunch and sustain as the gain knob ventures clockwise. In addition to its plentiful gain and output, the Dirty Deed features an active dual-band EQ that can cut or boost up to 12 decibels for huge tone-sculpting capabilities. It can also operate at up to 18 volts for greater headroom, and an even wider range of compression and saturation characteristics. Like all of Seymour Duncan's fine effects, the Dirty Deed was designed and constructed in Santa Barbara, California, USA, and features rugged true bypass switching.
