I am old enough to remember quite clearly the year 1983 and all the fun I had back then. I remember also the introduction of the rather flash SDE-3000D from Roland. It had up to 3000ms of pristine delay with modulation and a swag of other tricks. Come forward 40 years and I'm (surprisingly) still here to help welcome the SDE-3000D Dual Digital Delay into the world. And what a cool pedal it is. The SDE-3000D takes all of the charms from the original 1U unit and adds a second delay plus tons of routing and stereo field options. It's just as cool as its ancestor and it has the added bonus of modern tech. Love it. Oh! And apparently there's an EVH version as well. I look forward to giving that one a shot sometime.
