Frits from Joranalogue, showed us a modular patch he'd created at the show. He used the Step 8 to create a pseudo-random rhythm, with one contour clocking the step module while sampling Orbit 3 for random voltages. The patch featured a dynamic interplay between kick, snare, and hi-hat, occasionally triggering snare rolls for added complexity. Frits utilized the Generate 3 for noise sources, adding random modulation to the hi-hat's envelope for a human-like groove.
To inject swing, he divided the clock using Contour 1, delaying every second beat slightly. added an acid voice, with the stable snare providing rhythmic stability.
