First, we'll just issue a little preemptive apology about Bob's knees in this video. We made this demo at a moment's notice an hour after we received it back from the luthier who had refretted it. The work was so good we ran it right in front of the camera to grab some footage. This Strat slays it !! We know you're not supposed to rock in short pants unless your name is Angus, but in this case we think it's ok. Check this beast out on our site!

Item Details:

This 1963 Fender Stratocaster has been refinished just recently in a classic Olympic White and is otherwise original. Music Store Live contacted Fiesta Finishes to refinish this guitar and we could not be happier with their work! They have truly done a tremendous job on this body. The UV aging looks absolutely authentic. Under our care, we have added a very light degree of finish checking to this guitar so that the finish does not appear to be brand new looking. Upon close inspection you will find a very light degree of smaller finish checking. It gives the guitar the appearance of a lightly played vintage beauty and really helps to carry its original vintage vibe. The maple neck, which has never had any work done to its finish, features a Brazilian rosewood fretboard, clay dot inlays and its original nut, headstock logo and Kluson tuners. The neck date reads : 2 OCT 63 B.

Other features of this vintage Strat include the original bridge, trem arm, hardware, red disc capacitor and original pots. The frets, as stated above, have just been replaced. They are brand new with no wear whatsoever. Two jack wired have been replaced in the guitar. This 1963 Stratocaster comes with a 1962 Jazzmaster hard shell case.

The original black back single coil pickups measure as follows : Neck 5.2k, Mid 5.48k, Bridge 5.29k

Overall Condition:

This 1963 Fender Stratocaster is in very good condition. The refinish work is absolutely top shelf quality. The UV aging gives this guitar a perfectly vintaged glow to it and the in house finish checking work make it seem as though it is as close to a closest classic as possible. The neck is a dream to play. The frets are brand new! The D string Kluson tuner is slightly bent but works as it should. There is only a light amount of pitting to the fretboard.
