This fifty-one year old 'closet' thinline 16 1/4-inch-wide archtop guitar weighs just 6.10 lbs and has a nut width of 1 11/16 inches. Single-bound laminated maple body, one-piece mahogany neck with a wonderful medium-to-thick '58 profile, and bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard with 20 original thin frets and inlaid pearl dot position markers. Two wonderfully resonant black P-90 pickups with outputs of 8.03k and 7.94k. Les Paul combination trapeze bridge/tailpiece. This guitar although fifty-one years old has hardly ever been touched (let alone played) and is in literally like new mint (9.50+++) condition. Housed in the original Gibson brown four-latch 'Lifton' hardshell case (same as an ES-335) with pink plush lining which in turn is housed in the original Gibson cloth case cover. Apart from some wear to the handle, the case is also mint.
