On this week’s Academy Of Tone, Thomas is back in town! Mr Blug is back from his trip to Hamburg – where we broadcast our milestone Episode #50 live last week – and there’s plenty more to tell about his travels. Rich joins him to discuss what’s been going on, plus we have two great subjects to dive into in detail!

Firstly, we’re back on cabs again, and this week the TWINCAB is the one that’s in focus. So much has been said – and heard! – about the NANOCAB and the FATCAB recently, so we thought we’d delve into the biggest of the BluGuitar cabs and experience the magic of our 2x12 in a bit more detail.

PLUS, Thomas shares a bunch of killer recording tips for the BluBOX! We use the BluBOX to play to you guys live on Academy Of Tone every single week, but it’s about time Thomas shared some of his experiences and secrets of getting the best tones with this genius virtual cabinet simulator. Thomas will also show us the differences between recording with a real load, a reactive load, and a dummy load (i.e. no load) – and which method is right for you!
