These are some fun guitars to get into the shop - a Fender Telecaster with a "Smuggler's Cavity", and this one is from 1967. In all other regards, it is a Telecaster, but addition of the extra routing within the body (for weight relief). It probably goes without saying... the name comes from the fact that you could technically hide something in there. This one is nicely balanced and not too bright, as some from this era can be, especially with a maple fretboard. All around original except for an excellent refret and new nut done by Eric Daw. Today we're pairing it up with a Carr Skylark and having Aaron Hiebert take the combo for a spin!
