you just heard the Little Samson, by Greer Amps. In the Greer Amps dirt lineage, the Little Samson is the burly older brother that beats up other dirt pedals and takes their lunch money. Designed at the request of Andy Elliott from Elliott Guitars, the Little Samson picks up where the Southland and Lightspeed leave off with a raw, in-your-face take on overdrive. Despite its raw gain structure, the Little Samson remains solid and extremely touch-sensitive like a classic Plexi, yielding tons of gain to harder picking or a simple twist of the guitar's volume knob. Though the Little Samson contains a master Tone knob, players will find that the internals are expertly EQ'd, so there is no overpowering high or low frequencies. The bass remains tight throughout without flubbing out and making the audience groan, and the treble remains in check at all knob settings, even with everything dimed. The midrange frequencies don't stray far from where guitarists want them to be, making the Little Samson a winner in all genres. Like all Greer pedals, the Little Samson is made by humans right here in the USA.
