In this demo, Mike from Taylor gives the rundown on the new Grand Orchestra body shape. Then, Wayne Johnson plays on one and talks about how he likes that Grand Orchestras have the full response of a jumbo, but are not too 'low-end boomy'.
The Grand Orchestra is Taylor's largest guitar body, with a 5" body depth, meaning it produces serious decibels. Being a new body shape, it also boasts brand new parabolic bracing that helps the top vibrate evenly, thus creating a remarkably well-balanced frequency response. The Grand Orchestra body shape is found on any Taylor model number ending in '8' (for example, the 618e).
