zZounds.com exclusive tone overview of the Moog Minifooger MF Tremolo and MF Boost. Check out the MF Boost at http://www.zzounds.com/item--MOOMFBOOST, and the MF Tremolo at http://bit.ly/1s0bmQt
Moog's Minifooger MF Tremolo pedal uses analog circuitry to offer a wide range of effects ranging from classic hard tremolo to sounds approaching chorus and phasing. Shape, Tone, Speed, and Depth controls give you the ability to both dial in relatively dry, focused effect and lush, swirling, harmonically rich soundscapes. There is an additional Expression Pedal input that you can use to transition across speed settings.
The MF Boost offers two signal paths, a focused, 'untreated' VCA or a more colored, rich OTA. Its natural sound enhancement and compression emphasize frequency and dynamic ranges. Use tone, gain, and level controls to tighten and darken your sound, or open it all the way up for big sound. Finally, thanks to an Expression Pedal Input, you can sweep across the Gain level, creating envelope-like effects.
In this demo, we're exploring the MF Trem and MF Boost using a Gibson VOS 1959 Les Paul electric guitar and Orange TH30C combo amplifier. The Minifooger MF Delay is also used.
