I created this piece by using characteristic rhythms as a motif and developing themes for different parts of the composition. I had a tough time choosing the individual sounds, but I tried to use light rhythms to express the fun sounds of kittens happily dancing. Mischievous kittens, fickle kittens, dancing kittens... All kinds of kittens are hidden in my composition!
Performing at this Concert is like a dream to me. I will do my very best to make the piano reverberate the ‘world of kittens’ throughout the beautiful concert hall.
