Yep! I bit the bullet, and went out and got myself a Strat to use for demos. I get a lot of requests for stratocaster clips, but I'm just not a strat guy, so I'd been ignoring the suggestions...until now! I went out and played every strat at the local five and dime, and picked the one that I could almost play well. It's a Fender American Standard Stratocaster, fairly new, 2007 serial number, probably hit the shelves in 2008. Anyhoo...here's a quick little clip of my find. I'm glad to retire my 1986 62 Reissue...she's been good to me, but I just can't seem to play her like I used to...it's all Tele's and SG's for me these days.
