This Seth Avett D-35 sports a solid spruce top, but it's not just any spruce. It's high-altitude Swiss spruce harvested in winter, which is remarkably light weight, strong and sonically adept. The back is a very cool design. It's three pieces of wood - two are solid East Indian rosewood and one is solid flamed koa. It's a beautiful design with a unique voice. The fingerboard is ebony with custom copper snowflake inlays designed by Seth. This guitar also features Martin Gold Plus Natural 1, a transparent and nuanced pickup system that'll let you show up, plug in and play.
