A good friend of mine, Steve Townsend, dropped by the Tone Barn the other day to check out the amp and pedals we are coming out with. While there we decided to have some fun and jam a bit, and also record a Chasing Tone Podcast (you can hear the full episode at http://www.chasingtonepodcast.com). For the playing bits on here, Steve is using my Marshall DSL100 with a Marshall 412 cabinet with WGS speakers. He's using the Ibanez that you see in the picture there with a Dimarzio bridge pickup.
On this particular video, we're cutting out a few bits and pieces from the podcast that I thought some of you may enjoy, or learn a bit from. It's involving arguably one of the most important things involved in having great tone: Great Vibrato Technique, or GVT for short. No, I made that acronym up, it's not a real thing.
