In this video we are demonstrate the Hybrid Special with an exotic Ziricote wood top. The Hybrid Special allows you to quickly switch from powerful electric guitar tones to big acoustic guitar sounds with the flip of the switch. Thin and lightweight, the chambered semi-hollow body provides acoustic resonance while producing a sweet, clear tone.
Hybrid Special guitars are equipped with two Rockfield SWC humbucker pickups with push/pull coil split, for dialing up everything from super clean twang tones to thick drive sounds. A Fishman® under-saddle pickup and Fishman® Powerchip preamp, in combination with the chambered semi-hollow body, deliver authentic acoustic tone that can be blended with the electric pickups for endless tonal options. The electric and acoustic signals are combined when using a standard guitar cable, or separated via a Y-cable to deliver isolated signals to electric or acoustic amplifiers.
