This is the Fano TC6, from master builder Dennis Fano's Alt de Facto line. The Fano TC6 offers a tried and true T-style body shape but in mahogany, with a neck in the same warm tonewood for a mix of bolt neck twang and mellow overtones. Sticking with the Fano tradition, the TC6 is equipped with hardware you might not expect, such as a pair of TV Jones Super'Tron humbuckers. Super'Trons retain the bass note clarity and punch of the original 50's design, but with rail magnets instead of polepieces for added string-to-string definition. More modern touches include a chopped T-style bridge with compensated brass saddles and a comfy compound fretboard radius that takes you through the years, with 7.25" down in the chord area and 9.5" past the 10th fret. This TC6 is topped off with a thin nitro finish, complete with checking to match its tastefully applied aging.
