Introducing the MESA/Boogie® Triple Crown™ TC-100™. The 100 watt Triple Crown brings bold authority and headroom to the renowned TC preamp and also offers a wide array of tonal possibilities and control via Multi-Soak™ Power Attenuation.

The Multi-Soak™ Attenuator offers five power options per channel ranging from from 100, 50, 20, – all the way down to 3 watts of juicy, low-power clipability. Designed around a quartet of EL34 power tubes, the TC-100 can also be used with a quartet of 6L6 or 6V6 power tubes to provide an even wider range of sonic options via the Bias Select switch.

The TC-100 delivers the best characteristics of classic, vintage rock-inspired amps and today’s heaviest modern gain sounds, while also providing one of the highest headroom clean sounds of any amp we’ve made.

Recorded with a Tom Anderson Drop Top Classic with SF Single Coil pickups and Bridge H3 Humbucker into the TC100 (and TC50) and a 2x12 Rectifier Horizontal cabinet with Celestion Vintage 30s. Mic’d with a Shure KSM 313, Shure SM57 and a stereo room mic. Mixed with 50% KSM313 and 50% SM57 except the tube comparison which was mixed 45% KSM313 and 45% SM57 and 10% stereo room mic.
