Here I'm showing off the tones of the Express 5:50 in 5w mode. The overall volume output is substantially reduced compared to the 50 watt. The tonal character changes as well. It becomes a bit spongier and looser in the bass/midrange. The clean headroom is cut down quite a bit as well. The overal tone is still the same though. This amp is primarily driven by the preamp. Tweaking the power amp changes the feel, but you still have all of the basic sounds as the 50w mode - just at lower volumes.
