I was not expecting these budget Gatekeeper GKP-T pickups to sound this good. After all, great Tele pickups at under $99 a set are pretty rare! The Alnico 5 magnets provide plenty of punch and clarity when you need them and can mellow out nicely by backing down the volume knob on the guitar. Sounds range from warm and round sounding neck to full overwound bridge tone that can handle both rock and twang. The Neck is 6.9K and the Bridge is 6.6K and both pickups are a fantastic match for my custom-built telecaster!
