Everything starts from a vision in your head, but making that vision a reality can be a long journey, & for Westerner's front man, Cooper Bombadil, the thought of how to perform a sci-fi style album called “Unreal City,” live, sparked the formation of the power trio known today as Westerner. Westerner is Cooper Bombadil on vocals, guitar, & synth, bassist, keyboardist, & backing vocalist Brandon Valerino, and drummer Mike Gattshall. The creative process for a Westerner song starts at band practice, where a random guitar lick sparks an inspiring jam of layering pieces together that all start falling into place to create an album hit. The trio just put out their sophomore album "Kali Yuga Kama Sutra" on August 19th, 2022, which gives modern indie vibes with neo-psychedelic and synth-pop tones featuring their hit song “Hell is Dull.” Along with the drop of their new album on Coconut Spaceship Records, you can expect to see Westerner on tour in the near future, as well as many fun music videos to come! The band is taking every part of the process as a steppingstone to the top of the music industry & loving every minute of it.
