The 5015 is a blank canvas in amplifier form, providing a sweet-sounding extremely high-headroom platform for running an entire mission control center worth of effects. Though the amp is about the size of a lunchbox, it packs 50 watts of all-tube power, featuring two 12AX7s in the preamp and a pair of 6L6/5881's in the Class AB power section. The dual Volume and Master Volume controls allow players to dial in the right amount of compression in both sets of tubes, while the Sexytone control equalizes the amp. This tone knob controls three different frequency filters simultaneously, which are perfectly balanced for an infinite number of sweet spots instead of just one or two. The onboard effects loop is tube-buffered, so players can run long cables to and from their pedalboards without any trace of tone-suck. The iChannel input allows players to use their iOS devices as a breakout box, by inserting them into the effects loop and plugging the guitar into the iChannel input. This allows you to send signals to an iOS device, process them, and send them back to the amp’s power section for seamless integration into any DAW. Each 5015 is made one-at-a-time using primo components in Northern Italy.
