This is a quick demo from Summer NAMM of a new set of pickups coming soon from Zexcoil. This set is called the Convertible set, and it gives you a very usable combination of humbucker and single coil tone, all in a hum-canceling design.

These are somewhere between the Vintage series (typical stratty single coils) and the Signature series (humbucker tone). When in to "Normal" mode, you have the fullness of a humbucker, but slightly more transparent. When in "Split" mode, you have the transparency of a single coil, but not a huge drop in volume. This minimal drop in volume, and an acceptable difference in brightness make it very possible to use both modes, even in the same song.
