1964 as a model year was an extraordinary great year for Gibson SGs. They had just replaced the clunky side-pull vibrato with the much more dependable Maestro Vibrola. The neck profile had been increased in size to be compareable to the profile of 1959 Les Pauls. And the general balance and playability of these SGs started to get into a league of their own. George Harrison and Eric Clapton had original 1964 SG Standards at career peaks, and now you can get a reissued (and much more affordable than the original) SG in this stunning Olive Drab Green.
