Today we're back at it with Jared James Nichols, but today we've picked a slightly younger ES-335 from 1962! A completely original instrument down to the frets, nut, and PAF pickups, this guitar is just perfect to us. With minimal wear, the fit and finish is just as one would hope for, still glossy with no checking or major blemishes. The guitar plays excellently with its slimmer 60's profile neck, and the tuners work perfectly for their age.
Of course, just like last time, we used an incredible 1970 Marshall Model 1962 50w Tremolo "Bluesbreaker", a rare 2x12 combo that delivers all of the classic Marshall goods that you'd want if you're looking for this beast of an amp - and short of new tolex and grillcloth, this baby is totally original!
