As pioneers of small-body guitar design throughout the first half of the 20th Century, Gibson’s L-Series was described as offering the “perfect balance” of sound soon after this L-00 guitar was first released in 1931! Comfortable enough to play at home, but still producing a rich, full tone, this guitar has remained a favorite of American musicians for nearly a century, from players like Woody Guthrie to Sheryl Crow.
