Todd Krause is a legend in the guitar making business and playing this guitar I can hear why Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck want him to built their guitars. The reliced pewter finish is not something you see everyday making this a rather unique piece. Loaded with Clapton electronics (noiseless pickups, mid boost tone control) this guitar is one of the most versatile sounding strats made. Covers every tone in Clapton's career. The noiseless pickups have that vintage sparkle and vibe. The mid boost tone control turns the pickups into screaming banshees. The 10/56 V has a little beef but is well shaped and comfortable to play. Bends, chords and searing licks are a breeze to play. Fret work is excellent and intonation is spot on.
