This wonderful forty-eight year old guitar weighs just 7.60 lbs. and has a lovely medium neck profile. Three staggered-height pole pickups with nicely balanced outputs of 5.84k, 5.88k, and 5.74k. Solid alder body and Brazilian rosewood 'slab-board' neck. Six-pivot bridge/vibrato unit with through-body stringing. The neck is dated "6-60" and the body is dated "3/60". Although this is a three-color sunburst, the red has almost faded out leaving a beautiful two-tone more like a '56. There is some very light belt buckle wear on the back and a few small surface marks on the body. Overall, this guitar is in exceptionally fine (9.00) and totally original condition. Original Fender brown tolex hardshell case with orange plush lining (9.00).
